Michael Mavura
Michael Mavura is currently holding the position of a tutorial assistant at Ardhi University in the Department of Geospatial Sciences and Technology (DGST). His academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Geoinformatics. Currently, he's enrolled in the Master’s program for Geographical Information System and Remote Sensing (MSc. GIS & RS) at Ardhi University
His research endeavors are centered around the sophisticated integration of Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing techniques, specifically geared towards enhancing the field of land use planning within the broader scope of Geospatial Sciences.
Angel Charles Mng'onya
Angel Charles Mng’onya is currently a Research Assistant at the Institute of Human Settlements Studies, Ardhi University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Management. Additionally, she is currently pursuing a master's degree in Sustainable Energy and Engineering at the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology. She is currently working on a research topic on Investigation of optimal condition for production bio-briquettes derived from sawdust and coconut husks for household utilization.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Angel Charles Mng’onya serves as an Environmental Consultant. She has engaged in consultancy services with KasKim Company Limited, catering to both government institutions and private organizations.
Her research interests are on waste recovery, renewable energies and energy storage materials for renewable energies.

Azizi Abasi Rweyemamu
Mr. Azizi Abasi Rweyemamu has been serving as a Tutorial Assistant at Ardhi University, specifically in the School of Spatial Planning and Social Science, Department of Economics and Social Studies, since 2019. He owns a Bachelor's degree in Economics (BAE) from Ardhi University in 2016 and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Economics (MAE) at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. His research interests encompass Food Security Economics, Agri-food Value Chains, Urban Food Systems, and Household-level Welfare Analysis. Mr. Azizi has actively participated in various research and outreach projects. His goal is to make significant contributions to the field of Economics, with a particular focus on food security and urban development.
Janeth Willim Mdee
Janeth Willim Mdee is sociologist, currently employed as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Human Settlement Studies, Ardhi University (ARU).
She is also pursuing Master`s degree of Art in Sociology at University of Dar es salaam. Her research areas of interest include; gender issues, community development and public policy. She is motivated and enthusiastic with strong commitment to excellence in both academic and professional endeavors.
Her master scholarship is under project 3: socio-economic development- increasing the sustainability of urban foodscapes through agri-food entrepreneurship.
Kimaro Amedeus
Mr. Kimaro Amedeus is a housing and infrastructure expert (Town planner) who graduated from Ardhi University Dar es Salaam with BSc. Housing and infrastructure planning-2017. Kimaro is also a GIS person and is interested mostly in mapping. He is working at Ardhi University as Tutorial assistant training university students on Housing and infrastructure planning, design, and cost estimation. Kimaro is now pursuing a Master of transportation science- Traffic Safety with UHasselt and Ardhi University under the VLIROUS Scholarship.
Kimaro is also now a member of the Global Coalition for road safety and Transportation Network of Students (TSN) under the road safer now project conducted in Hasselt City-Belgium. Upon Completion of the Master’s Degree program, He is aiming to focus his research on traffic safety for Vulnerable populations and school children.

Curthbert Zofari Njele
Curthbert Zofari Njele is an Infrastructure Planner by profession who is currently serving as a Tutorial Assistant at Ardhi University within the esteemed School of Spatial Planning and Social Sciences (SSPSS), specifically in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning (URP).
His journey into academia has been one driven by a passion for fostering knowledge and expertise in the realm of Infrastructure planning, and in particular, transportation sciences.
Currently he is pursuing his master's degree in Transportation Sciences at Hasselt University and Ardhi University, and his aspiration is twofold.
Firstly, he seeks to deepen his understanding and proficiency in this specialized field, recognizing its pivotal role in shaping sustainable urban environments and facilitating efficient mobility systems. Secondly, He aims to leverage this advanced knowledge to fulfill his ambition of becoming an impactful instructor and lecturer. By imparting his insights and experiences to aspiring practitioners, He aspires to contribute to the development of a cadre of knowledgeable professionals who can address the evolving challenges and opportunities within the transportation sector.
Helbert Nyaki
Helbert Nyaki is a dedicated civil engineer and tutorial assistant at Ardhi University, in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Driven by a strong commitment to road safety, Helbert is currently pursuing a dual master's degree in Transportation Science with a focus on Traffic Safety at Hasselt University in Belgium and Ardhi University in Tanzania.
His passion for creating safer infrastructure and improving community well being fueld is his pursuit of expertise in this field. Helbert envisions applying his knowledge to advocate for safer roads, starting as an educator who inspires future engineers and continuing with hands on involvement in impactful projects.

Bertha Bazil Macha
Ms. Bertha Bazil Macha has been a Tutorial Assistant at Ardhi University, in the School of Spatial Planning and Social Science, Department of Economics and Social Studies, since 2019.
She has a Bachelor degree of Arts in Community Development Studies (BA.CDS) from Ardhi University (2017) and she is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Gender Studies (MA.GS) at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Her research focuses on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) forms, associating factors and effects among university students in their diversity.
Her goal is to become a gender expert in promoting gender equality and equity. Also, to collaborate with the Government, Civil Society Organizations, and other stakeholders to encourage gender-responsive policies, raise awareness, challenge stereotypes, and foster a more inclusive society for sustainable development.

I am Zulfa Sammadile, currently serving as a tutorial assistant at Ardhi University in the Department of Computer Systems and Mathematics. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management from Ardhi University. Presently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Information and Communication Science and Engineering at Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology.
Within the broader scope of my research, I am particularly interested in leveraging these technologies to optimize emergency response systems. By combining IoT devices and GIS methodologies, I aim to develop innovative solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of emergency services in urban areas.
